' Burns Night Celebration '

"Here comes the Haggis..."

Children viewing the cartlon knight

The annual Burns Supper at Carlton in Lindrick Centre & Village Hall, which is a joint event hosted by both the Caledonian Society and Trustees of the Carlton in Lindrick Centre, was an excellent night with all the traditions you would expect from a Burns Night.

The haggis was carried by "Poosie Nancy" and piped in by piper Colin McAlpine.

The haggis was addressed by Andy Logan with the Immortal Memory proposed by Ian Gordon.

Toast to the Lassies was given by Bob Ballantyne and Vivian M'Itwamwari gave the response for the lassies.

The food was excellent and The Carlton in Lindrick Centre & Village hall provided the ideal venue for this event as there was plenty of room for the dancing which took place after the formal part of the evening.
